The next WordPress release is due on 31st March 2020. This is for version 5.4 RC3.
As with all major releases, this will have a positive impact on the performance of many websites BUT importantly a negative impact on those websites that are Plugin heavy. Plugin and Theme developers should have reviewed their products against the new release in the Beta testing phase. We recommend you ask your Digital Marketing partners to check functionality in early April and deal with any faulty Plugins with the developers.
