The Brief
Lithobee is a relatively new brand and operates online in an extremely competitive market place. They have a number of key competitors, most of whom are non UK based.
Key to the success of the brand is the identification of, and engagement with, a totally new ‘framed art’ purchasing audience. A database of contacts would need to be established so that interested parties can be marketed towards, with a view to turning as many as possible into purchasing customers.
Our Approach
As Lithobee is a brand relatively new to the market, our key goals were firstly to create awareness around the brand and then, create an interest in the extensive product range offering. We also established new features to aid the collection of visitor contact details, with a view to building a brand new contacts database for future marketing purposes. We also implemented the following:
- Website adjustments to resolve UX and SEO related issues
- Brand awareness campaigns to increase visitors to the site
- A quarterly newsletter’ with subscribe button on the homepage
- SEO and key word strategies
- Regular blog posting around a predetermined list of ‘art’ related topics
- PPC and social media campaigns around events and key dates within the calendar
- New website content in the form of promotional videos and Blog posts

After a period of market research, it was established that Lithobee, is the only ‘framed wall art provider’ within the top five providers in the UK, that is 100% UK based. This allowed us to position Lithobee as ‘The Premier UK Based Wall Art Company’
Lithobee are committed to sustainability with frames crafted from recycled polystyrene. Being solely UK based – we focused campaign messaging around ‘shopping locally’ and ‘sustainability’. To aid brand recognition, we utilised the yellow, Grey and black colours within ongoing Lithobee awareness campaign messaging.

Website evaluation and SEO strategy
Following a review of the Lithobee website, we made a number of Technical and UX (User Experience) adjustments to improve search results in relation to impressions and click throughs to the site.
We implemented a content strategy, including regular blog posting, to develop brand authority and increase the number of targeted keywords across search results. We implemented on-page SEO across the site, which included the indexing of over 600 product pages.
In the first 3 months – organic and paid traffic increased significantly, and importantly, total revenue within this period increased by nearly 200%.
- Overall, New users increased by 43%
- Organic Search was the 2nd largest channel for new users
- The number of new users from Organic Search increased by 9% with the website ranking higher for relevant keywords.
- Paid Shopping was the top channel for new users and increased by 60%
Other channels:
- Display increased by 2.5%
- Direct increased by 32%
- Paid search decreased by 17%
- Organic Social increased by 232%
